We are delighted to announce that the inaugural meeting of the new All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Genetic Haemochromatosis (Iron Overload) will take place on Wednesday 16 January 2019 at Portcullis House, Westminster, at 14:30.

The aims of the first meeting are to:

1. Complete the necessary formalities to establish the group
2. Elect a chair and other officers
3. Give the new group an opportunity to ask questions of patients and medical advisers
4. Agree a formal remit and discuss initial priorities

An agenda and papers will be issued to meeting delegates ahead of the event. The minutes of the meeting will be published here within 7 days.
