Our advice lines are available by phone and email. Everything we do is funded by public donations. We receive no NHS or government funding. Iron Overload Buddies (weekly by appointment) Are you newly diagnosed or caring for someone affected by genetic haemochromatosis? Would you like to buddy-up with an experienced volunteer for iron overload advice? Chat with a Buddy every couple of weeks for up to 3 months, by phone at a time that suits you. Use this service if you are unsure what type of genetic haemochromatosis you have. We will review your genetic test report and tell you within 1-2 working days - just click the button below. What is my genetic status? Members' legal helpline (weekdays by appointment) We provide our members with access to our legal helpline, in association with Moore Barlow solicitors. If you would like help or to speak in confidence with one of the team at Moore Barlow, simply register online, providing your membership number and one of the team will be in touch to provide help and advice. This service is provided on weekdays 9am-5pm. Legal Helpline Registration (members only) * Calls to 03 numbers cost no more than a national rate call to an 01 or 02 number.
