Private venesection providers

We have contacted private hospitals across the UK asking which ones carry out venesections and what the cost might be.

Please note, these are approximate guide prices only - a lot of the hospitals did advise they could only give accurate costings on a case-by-case basis so these are purely for an idea not an exact figure.  Some hospitals were able to give more information than others, so we have made notes next to each one with as much detail as we were given.

IMPORTANT NOTE : this information is provided in good faith by our charity as an aid to members who may be struggling to secure appropriate NHS venesection services; we do not endorse or recommend any specific provider. If you are experiencing difficulties in arranging appropriate NHS venesection, this booklet may be helpful in securing appropriate care within the NHS.

We will update this regularly and if you know of any other hospitals that do offer venesection privately, please do share the information and we can add it here - [email protected]
