My Dad was practical, funny and dependable, my influence and guidance in life sadly I was only 22 when he passed away from Haemochromatosis at 50 years old back in 2002. He saw me graduate at university, but sadly never knew his grandchildren, who he would have adored. I would like him to be remembered as a brilliantly, car mad, loving and inspirational father to myself and my brother Andrew. I hope by raising awareness of genetic heamochromotosis, symptoms can be identified at an early stage and successful long term treatment can be adopted resulting in full and happy life.
