Information for healthcare professionals We work closely with healthcare practitioners and clinicians to optimise the care delivered to people with genetic haemochromatosis (GH). We endorse the British Society of Haematology guidelines, published in April 2018, as the basis for care of people with GH. Recent projects have included : Improving genetic testing reports (with University of Cambridge) Developing non-Invasive imaging techniques to improve diagnosis of haemochromatosis (with University of Oxford & the NCIMI consortium) We will also fund our own medical research bursaries for clinicians and nurses.
