London Landmarks Half Marathon
Sunday 2nd April 2023

It took a good few years for me to be diagnosed with Hemochromatosis but once I was in 2010 and with regular venesections and blood checks, I am now in a position where I have 3 venesections a year, this is fantastic compared to every two weeks when I was first diagnosed. It does come with its problems at times, the fatigue and joint pains sometimes can be another level but all in all I have learnt to manage my symptoms and live a normal life.

I had never heard of this condition before I was diagnosed so I am always happy to inform others, if I am asked and raise awareness for the condition that is why I am running for Hemochromatosis, they are an amazing charity and do amazing research and work so this is where I can give something back to them for all their support.

Anything at all you can give would mean so much to me.

Thank you for reading.
