Journalist David Mackay at the Aberdeen Press & Journal, shared his GH story to readers earlier this month, to coincide with our Aberdeenshire screening initiative.

He supports the charity's screening initiative : 

"Testing should be commonsense. Every 12 weeks at the blood bank I'm reminded my haemochromatosis story is one of good fortune, not design. Early diagnosis prevents not only deaths but cancer, diabetes, arthritis - all burdens on our NHS."
