The workshop was "an excellent, enjoyable & useful weekend", according to one participant.

Over 35 of the charity's stakeholders gathered at the University of Cambridge last month for our Shaping the Future weekend workshop to plan our charity's strategy for 2023-2028.

Stakeholders including HUK’s staff team, board members, clinical advisors, volunteers, patrons and representatives of our membership from all the UK nations and regions participated in presentations and discussions on various topics. 

These included a presentation by Dr Bill Griffiths, Consultant Hepatologist at Addenbrookes Hospital on the latest EASL GH guidelines, discussions on the charity's approach to messaging and advocacy, updates on our nations & regions strategy - and much, much more.

The resulting strategy documentation will be reviewed by the charity's Board of Trustees, with a view to publication in the New Year. Watch this space!
