HUK's Social Media, Community and Volunteer Manager Elizabeth took to the road this month to take part at the Royal Welsh Show in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells.

The Royal Welsh Show is the  pinnacle event in the British agricultural calendar.

Along with an exciting four-days of livestock and equine competitions, with entries travelling from far and wide to compete, the show has something to interest everyone through its wide range of activities including forestry, horticulture, crafts, countryside sports, shopping, food and drink and a 12-hour programme each day of exciting entertainment, attractions and displays.

Despite the heat over 200,000 people attended and we manged to give out thousands of leaflets.

Elizabeth was joined by Maureen our Health Data Researcher and many volunteers who are members of our community action team. A big thank you to Sian, Jan, Mike, Hywel, Rhys, Gaynor and Gary who helped man the stall across the week. Without your support the week would not have been possible.

We would also like to thank the National Lottery Community Fund which funded our attendance.
