Imagine if the answer to "Doing anything interesting in 2024?" was, "Yes, I am walking lava fields in Iceland or running the Paris Marathon or trekking Hadrian's Wall".

Looking for an adventure in 2024, something you have never experienced before or to give yourself a new challenge! We might just have the experience for you. Like Karen, who ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon - it might just change you life.

We have carefully chosen events in 2024 to offer you exciting activities while at the same time raising funds so we can continue to save lives and prevent ill-health from iron overload. You can walk, run, cycle, or paddle given the different events throughout the year.

Visit the events page to see events like: Inverness Half Marathon, Ironbridge Gorge (Telford)Brighton Marathon Weekend, London Landmarks Half Marathon (all our places have gone), Wrexham 10k, Belfast Marathon, Loch Ness Cycling, Great Birmingham Run, Great Bristol Run, London-Essex Cycling, Burgh Island Swim, Lake Vyrnwy (Oswestry)Hadrian's Wall Trail, Giant's Causeway Challenge and London Vitality 10k + much more

There are many exciting events in UK Haemochromatosis Awareness Week:

And if all this exertion and activity is too much - you can always just hold a Great Iron Brew or a Little Iron Brew and ask friends, family and your community round for tea and cake in your kitchen or local community venue all in aid of Haemochromatosis UK.

As a charity, we depend on fundraised income and donations to keep going every year. We receive no government or NHS funding for our work so are very grateful when people organise their own fundraising in aid of us.
