Earlier this week, HUK's venesection best practice team were awarded the prestigious British Journal of Nursing Nurse of the Year Awards. 

Our Education Programme Manager, Gerri Mortimore and Yvonne Francis of Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust were recognised for their collaborative work with over 200 nurses and healthcare practitioners to define and disseminate venesection clinical best practice.

Andrea Sutcliffe CBE, CEO & Registrar of Nursing & Midwifery Council, sponsors of the award said :
