Following the launch of the report Living with the Impact of Iron Overload at The House of Commons last month, and Haemochromatosis UK’s accompanying calls to action to try and improve the lives of people diagnosed and undiagnosed with GH, we are delighted that a number of MPs have agreed to take part in a proposed new All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG).

APPGs have the potential to exert influence for change. This is crucial for haemochromatosis patients at this time of competing demands for NHS and other resources, concerns about the impact of long term chronic conditions, and renewed emphasis by NHS leaders on prevention of disease before treatment becomes necessary.

This website will ensure that the activities of the future APPG are fully in the public domain.
