This is by no means a full list (there are millions of cereals out there!) but hopefully a help to give you an idea of the iron that is added to cereals.  There may also be naturally occurring iron present in cereals manufacturers do not always monitor these amounts - those noted as unfortified/do not fortify have no Iron added, however there could be iron in them that has occurred naturally. 

We had a very mixed response when we approached the makers of cereals, some explaining that they do not fortify any of their cereals, some willingly offering the information and others advising to check individual packets.  The same with the companies websites, some packed full of information, others not so much!

Jordans	Do not fortify any of their products, so their products contain only naturally occurring vitamins and minerals.  There is naturally occurring iron in some of their plant ingredients, such as oats, but the exact levels of iron depend on the specific cereal recipe. This does change over time, so we could only give readings as a guide - for up to date iron content, we would recommend individuals contact Jordans directly.  [email protected] However in the meantime, here are some current examples: • Our Organic Porridge has approx. 3mg of iron per 100g • LS Almond and Hazelnut Granola approx. 2.7mg/100g • Country Crisp with Strawberries has around 2.5mg of iron per 100g (which is similar to many other varieties in the Country Crisp range because of the oat content). • The highest iron value across the UK Country Crisp recipes is Country Crisp with dark chocolate at approx. 4.3mg/100g
