Have you heard of the saying "taking one for the team!!" Well that is exactly what I am going to do!

I am the Office Administrator for HUK and during World Haemochromatosis Week 1st - 7th June 2021 I am going to be jumping out of a plane and doing a skydive!!

I Know! Crazy you say?

Well I wanted to do something to raise the profile and awareness of the condition I work for - Haemochromatosis.

I know first hand by speaking directly with people who call the office, who have been newly diagnosed, who are frightened and worried about this condition. I want to help raise money to keep providing the vital work. that we do to provide help and support to these newly diagnosed patients.

I also deal with those left behind when loved ones have passed, through not being diagnosed early enough and the iron overload had caused irreparable damage. I am in awe of the strength and courage of these brave people who still think of our charity and donate even in the darkness of their own grief.

I felt I wanted to do something for all these people. To use that bravery and courage.

BUT...... Here is the twist!! The more money I raise, the higher the plane will go, the higher I have to jump!

If you would like to join my HUK colleagues in seeing me jump the highest ,then please click the DONATE button!

My Jump is booked for Saturday 5th June 2021 (Weather and Covid permitting!) Let's see how much I can raise between now and the jump day!

Thank you so much for supporting me!
