Speaker : Dr Ted Fitzsimons, Consultant Haematologist and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor, University of Glasgow Medical School

Professor Fitzsimons was lead author of the British Society for Haematology (BSH) clinical guidelines for the treatment of iron overload and is a medical adviser to the All Party Parliamentary Group for Genetic Haemochromatosis.

In this seminar, Professor Fitzsimons will provide an overview of genetic haemochromatosis, how it's diagnosed and the recommend care pathways in the UK.

There will be an opportunity for question and answer after the seminar.

This event is scheduled to mark World Haemochromatosis Week (1-7 June).
