During World Haemochromatosis Awareness Week in June, Vicki wanted to do something to raise the profile and awareness of our condition Haemochromatosis.

Vicki has always had a skydive on her bucket list and felt a Charity skydive for HUK would help fulfill her dream and in the process doing good for others. When asked why she was doing this crazy event, she replied:

I know first hand by speaking directly with people who call the office, who have been newly diagnosed, they are sometimes frightened and worried about their diagnosis and this condition. I want to help raise money to keep providing the vital work that we do to help and support to these newly diagnosed patients.

I also support those left behind when loved ones have passed, due to late diagnosis and irreparable damage Iron overload can cause. I am in awe of the strength and courage of these brave people who set up in memoriam pages and still think of our charity even in the darkness of their own grief.

I felt I wanted to do something for all these people

So it's done - The Jump is booked for Saturday 5th June 2021 (Weather and Covid permitting!)

BUT...... Here is the twist!! The more money she raises, the higher the plane will go,

the higher she will jump!

If we raise £500 she will go to 7,000ft

If we raise £1000 she will go to 10,000ft

If we raise £2,000 she will go to a whopping 15,000ft

How high can she go!

Vicki the team salute you, you are much braver than us!
